High Street Disco was founded the day that the world went into uproar over the U.S abortion ban. Part of Left Bank Media – which is also home to music and art based outlets Left Bank Magazine – High Street Disco focusses on hard-hitting issues that affect feminists and self-identifying women – while making these topics and opinions largely accessible.
The site features interviews and profiles on self-identifying women, sex articles — from consensual sex pieces to rape exposés, health pieces primarily focused on reproductive issues and mental health, opinion and op-eds from self-identifying women, feminists, and self-identifying men who wish to provide an alternate (and maybe opposing perspective), literary works — from essays to poetry, and, of course, music.
Founded by Left Bank editor Kristyn, the editor has worked for the likes of Sony Music and knows a good hook when she hears one! Now Kristyn and the High Street Disco team are giving Syncr users the opportunity to get themselves on their site.
With a wide ranging music taste but a love of pop, electronica and indie, submit your best tracks now to be considered – or be in with a chance of being covered by Left Bank Magazine too!
