Turn Up The Volume for Music Declares Emergency

Starting on April 19th 2021, the UK Music industry will reinforce its commitment to action on the climate emergency with a series of announcements and artist reach outs in the week of Earth Day 2021.

Bringing together the creators, the businesses and the individuals that drive UK music under the Music Declares Emergency banner ‘No Music On A Dead Planet – Turn Up The Volume’, the week will highlight the amazing work on sustainability already taking place across UK music.

With a focus on several different music genres each day, MDE will be turning up the volume on social media, in the press, through panels and discussions, fan activations, playlists and creative responses as well as launching some very exciting new, sustainably produced, No Music On A Dead Planet  t-shirt designs and much more.
